Fashion Program Design • Style • Storytelling • Fashion Influencer Skills Program Length: 2 Weeks Location: New York City Open to: International & American students No prior fashion experience required Program Overview The Arts Odyssey Academy Fashion Program introduces students to fashion as both a creative industry and a digital platform. Students explore design, style, cultural influence, and personal branding, while learning how fashion creators build audiences and influence trends. English language learning is integrated through presentations, critiques, content creation, and collaboration—helping students communicate ideas clearly and confidently. What Students Learn Fashion Design Foundations Fashion design basics: silhouette, color, texture Fabric exploration and mood boards Turning inspiration into design concepts Style, Identity & Culture Fashion as personal and cultural expression Global and NYC street style influences Fashion vocabulary and visual storytelling How to Be a Fashion Influencer Students learn the fundamentals of fashion influence and digital presence, including: Building a personal style identity Creating fashion content (photos, short videos, reels) Writing captions and describing style in English Understanding branding, audience, and authenticity Presenting fashion ideas confidently on camera Creative Storytelling & Presentation Explaining design choices and inspiration Peer critiques and feedback Presenting fashion concepts clearly and professionally NYC Fashion District & Cultural Trips Students participate in guided trips to: NYC Garment & Fashion District Fabric stores and design supply shops Fashion exhibitions and museums Style walks for trend observation and inspiration
